Nobody seems to know what is going on right now. Some are speculating that it could be a possilbe exploit against the gmail servers or I would guess that its possible the affected people have their machines infected with something causing this problem.

What is the moral of this story?

When planning out your email solution make sure you include in this plan a way to backup the important messages when you rely on someone else to host your email.

As of right now i don’t have any real way to backup emails from Gmail unless you setup a email program to download the emails to your computer.
