Here is a thought.

Instead of trying to create a social network for your real estate customers to become a member. Go and join THEIR social networks and participate with them.

Creating your own social network will most likely end in a dead network because it won’t have the traffic to sustain people visiting it.

It’s amazing how many social networks are out there. I’ve met a bunch of people on Dwell Magazine’s new Connect network.

Most people probably don’t know what Dwell Magazine is, much less that they have their own network. For my modern homes blog, it’s a gold mine.

There’s something for everyone out there.

I just realized that I have been thinking of social networks statically, rather than dynamically. Closed system vs. open. Yikes. Thanks for the “ah-ha!”

Which social networks would you suggest are a MUST for a Real Estate agent?

Where were you last year? I have joined Facebook and Myspace. Any others that you would suggest?
